Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure services are installed with minimal downtime for the network
Identify, diagnose and rectify faults within a complex data network infrastructure.

Lead the data networks team after my leading hand left the organization at the end of my first year of the apprenticeship.
Coached new staff and tradesmen on BCC processes for fault finding and installation practices.

My key responsibilities for this role were:
Contracted to plan and execute National Broadband Network migration for Brisbane City Council properties and audit existing telephony network to reduce costs for ratepayers.
Liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure NBN rollout was executed efficiently with minimal downtime.
Collaborate with Information Services Branch to configure new network requirements.
Create schedules for contractors and internal stakeholders to follow.
Audit existing telephony network to identify services no longer in use.
Assist in high-level fault requests to find solutions
Created $1,250,000 of extra revenue for Brisbane City Council over a 5-year period from the results of the telephony auditing process.
Successfully migrated 16 sites from the Telstra copper network to the new National Broadband Network with zero downtime for each site.
Collated 2,000 business assets to ensure maintenance contracts were carried out for replacements.
